We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated **Science Teacher **like you to fill a position in one of our South Metropolitan schools.

**Your skills and qualifications**:

- You have a recognised teacher qualification.
- You are able to demonstrate appropriate English language proficiency
- You have taught in a school for at least 2 years in the past 5 years.

At Warnbro Community High School, students from Year 7 to Year 12 are provided with excellent educational opportunities and are supported by dedicated teachers and support staff. We offer a comprehensive academic and vocational curriculum and specialist programs in Creative Arts and Adventure Recreation.

Located in the growing suburb of Warnbro, the school has access to many of the educational facilities the City of Rockingham provides such as Challenger TAFE.

**Adventure Recreation**:
The Adventure Recreation program takes advantage of the unique environments that surround Warnbro CHS such as the Shoalwater Marine Park and the Darling Range. Expeditions also take place across WA including the Margaret River Region and Albany Region.

Students participate in activities such as abseiling, snorkelling, rock climbing, sea kayaking, surfing, and mountain biking. They are taught environmental principles such as ‘leave no trace’ ethics, risk management and ecological sustainability. Each class completes two outdoor expeditions each year.

**Creative Arts Specialist Program (CASP)**

The Warnbro Community High School, The Arts Learning Area ethos aspires to create, make, learn and share the Art experience.
