For a leading luxury watch brand, we are currently recruiting a junior regional brand / national sales manager (w/m) with the aim of developing the brand at strategic and operational levels throughout the ANZ region. This challenging role will involve business planning, achieving sales targets, overseeing sales & distribution, financial management, marketing, inventory control and people management.

**POSITION**

**Key Challenges
- Development of local ANZ market to increase market share and ensure ongoing stronger and consistent sell-out results
- Strategic development and expansion of Wholesale distribution base
- Identification and implementation of brand retail store opportunities
- Ongoing elevation of the brand awareness and desirability in Australia and NZ
- Achieving monthly sales targets
- Maintaining exceptional relationships with retailers and end-customers.

Breaking down the various areas of the role, we have:
Sales & Distribution
- Personally oversee all Wholesale POS to maximise range performance, regular replenishment and display standards
- Budgeting, forecasting and ongoing monitoring of sales and sell-out for all POS
- Implement new product launches in the market
- Visit all Wholesale POS as part of regular call cycle
- Explore opportunities to introduce corporate Retail boutiques based on strategic requirements and commercial/financial viability
- Expand and leverage the Brand CRM database and programs locally

Marketing & Communications
- Define marketing strategy to support the brand strategy within budget
- Set and implement with Marketing Coordinator the annual marketing calendar comprising advertising, PR, display initiatives, shop-in-shop development and events.
- Manage brand events, exhibitions, product launches and VIP events
- Execute with Marketing Coordinator optimal digital marketing initiatives in line with global brand strategy
- Manage marketing budget on a monthly basis Monitor monthly PR results versus targets
- Ensure marketing activities reflect global brand image
- Conduct training to brand partners (retailers and media)

VM
- Oversee Marketing Coordinator executing required display roll-outs and special display initiatives for key campaigns (e.g. launches, events, etc.)
- Initiate and execute shop-in-shop projects ensuring requirements of POS in-line with brand strategy.
- Manage sub-contractors for quotes and installation.
- Liaise with approved supplier for design and furniture production.
- Liaise with Retailer/ Architect for sign-off, implementation, installation.

Leadership & Management
- Manage direct reports (1-2) to ensure team is motivated and performs at optimal level
- Ensure annual performance reviews are conducted for direct reports and that individual development plans arising from performance reviews are implemented
- Work collaboratively with Human Resources Manager to ensure staff issues are addressed appropriately and in line with employment legislation

Stock Ordering / Inventory Control
- Oversee the stock ordering on weekly basis, with brand HQ re special orders and availability issues.
- Plan new product introductions and phasing-out discontinued lines

Budgeting & Pricing
- Prepare and present annual sales and marketing budget to Brand HQ
- Re-forecast annual sales budgets when required for Brand HQ
- Oversee implementation of required price adjustments

**PROFILE**

**Experience & Skills Required
- A first general management experience desirable
- Strong team leadership and people management skills (small teams)
- Proven experience achieving sales targets
- Wholesale experience in the prestige or luxury segment (Watch & Jewellery, an asset)
- Retail experience in the luxury segment is an asset
- Operational Marketing experience
- Excellent organisation, project management, budget planning skills
- Excellent business and commercial acumen, numerical, financial and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Attention-to-detail essential
- Excellent computer literacy
- Team player
