Allied Health Assistant - Grade 3 - Full time position

- Role is supported by experienced Occupational Therapist clinicians.

Working as an AHA with our NDIS participants in clinic, tele-health and community setting with diagnosed mental health conditions and physical disabilities. AHA will have the opportunity to work with Clients who display high behaviours and low behaviour. AHA will be involved in clients care to improve their motor skills, function, mobility, and quality of life. In this role you will provide individual therapy sessions, assist occupational therapy staff in co-treatment sessions; and take with other responsibilities which includes the management of equipment’s tasks and write case notes and assist with report writing. You will also work with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent person-centred care.

Our AHAs are well supported by experienced and dedicated occupational therapist and have opportunities for professional development, education, and training, and to participate in student supervision. Our department is friendly and supportive, and this is an excellent opportunity to join our extensive AHA and Occupational therapist team in a well-supported role.

**To be Successful in this Role, you will**:

- Have a Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant qualification or equivalent, and experience working as an AHA in a health care and community setting. Experience working in community setting is highly desirable. Overseas Occupational Therapist or physiotherapist welcome to apply.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have excellent written and spoken English.
- Be willing to learn and be committed to providing excellent patient care.
- Have the ability to adapt and be flexible and be able to work full time position.
- Work well within a team environment to assist clients and Occupational therapist staff.
- Ensure safe and high-quality patient care is delivered in line with FLOURISH HOLISTIC SERVICES PTY LTD values and policies, as instructed by Occupational therapist staff.
- Contribute to a culture that values ongoing learning and be part of a positive workplace.
