**About the Centre/Service**

We are a community based kindergarten located on the grounds of Carnegie Primary School. We offer an integrated offsite bush kinder program and have recently established a onsite bush garden space for children to explore. Children who attend a Glen Education kindergarten are engaged in a play-based curriculum which evolves from the children’s interests. Both indoor and outdoor activities and experiences are carefully planned to enable each child to work towards their next step in learning.

- Glen Education are currently seeking an Certificate III Qualified Educator to join our Carnegie Kindergarten team.

- **About the position** Glen Education are seeking an enthusiastic and confident educator for a Cert III position at this well-established service. The successful applicant will be working across Monday to Friday in an experienced and passionate team with 3-5 year olds. Hours for this position total 26.5 hours per week. Hours will be as follows: Monday - 12pm - 4:15pm Tuesday - 9:45am - 4pm Wednesday - 8:30am - 2pm Thursday - 8:30am - 3pm Friday - 8am - 1pm These hours are inclusive of planning time.

- An Early Childhood Education certificate, diploma, degree or equivalent, as approved by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Must hold a valid and current Working with Children Clearance or VIT registration (provisional or full registration)
- Must hold a current (not older than 6 months) National Police Check
- Must hold a valid and current First Aid (Education and Care Setting), CPR and Child Protection certificates
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster dose), or have an approved medical exemption
- Demonstrated knowledge of current best practice that is reflective of the approved National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
- Working knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to deliver high quality education
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and confidence to engage with a diverse range of people
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate a positive work culture and be solution focused in thinking and practice
