About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Permit Coordinator to join our Cockburn Cement Limited Operations at Kwinana. This is a great opportunity to use your experience in this exciting greenfields project, while being based at Perth with all the benefits that this provides.

Permit Controller is needed to ensure the PTW process is managed and controlled by ensuring:

- Permit holder training is undertaken, and registers of permit holders maintained.
- Permit Registers are maintained to track and record the type of permit(s) issued, their work area, work scope, and other details such as plant and equipment numbers if isolating equipment.
- Tracking the closure / relinquishing / reissuing of permits.
- Reviewing new permit requests against current issued permits to identify any area conflicts / SimOps issues.
- Management of lock boxes associated with isolation permits.
- Permits are completed correctly and clearly identify SOW and work location.
- Reviewing emergency rescue plans associated with permits for working at height, confined space entry, use of Mancage to ensure they are acceptable and detail specific rescue requirements for the SOW.
- Regular PTW compliance checks are made to ensure all PTWs are compliant in the field.
- Carry out regular inspections of work areas to ensure correct isolations are in place and are functional in relation to the approved isolation permit.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the permit to work system.
