**Gymnastics Coach - Team Leader**
Eastern Gymnastics Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our coaching staff. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on coaching and Leadership making it an ideal opportunity for a passionate gymnastics professional looking to take the next step in their career. The experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Rose Bay is located at one of our prestigious private schools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape young athletes and contribute to our esteemed gymnastics program.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and mentor a team of gymnastics coaches, ensuring high-quality instruction and adherence to safety protocols
- Develop and implement training programs for competitive gymnasts across various skill levels
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss athlete progress, coaching strategies, and upcoming events
- Oversee the planning and execution of gymnastics events.
- Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and other staff members
- Contribute to the overall growth and development of the gymnastics program
- Ensure compliance with all relevant gymnastics governing body regulations
- Assist in talent identification and recruitment for competitive teams
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 + years of experience as a gymnastics coach, with leadership role
- Current certification from GYMNASTICS AUSTRALIA
- Proven track record of developing successful competitive gymnasts
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- First Aid and CPR certification
**Required Skills**:
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety practices and Women's Artistic Routines (ALP Routines - Level 1-4)
- Ability to motivate and inspire both coaches and athletes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using gymnastics-specific software and technology
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
