To prepare quality system documentation for issue, and to report any product safety or quality concerns to the Quality Lead or any operational concerns to the Production Manager and/or Plant Manager.

**This is an afternoon shift position - First 4 weeks training on Day shift.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be familiar with company quality policy, product safety & quality objectives, quality procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct routine quality control inspection and testing criteria based on quality plan
- Identifying product defects or potential issues and follow up with related function to resolve the issue
- Analyse and manage quality records to support continuous improvements
- Maintain document control of quality management procedures and associated documents (archive, update and issue quality documents as directed)
- Support and provide backup data for customer complaint investigation and follow up on countermeasure actions.
- Responsible for QA/QC improvements and corrective/preventive actions following audits to ensure agreed actions are addressed and improvement is verified
- Ensure all GMP and food safety plan verification activities are complete
- Coordinate routine and regular calibration of measurement tools as per defined plan
- Participate in the company’s safety environmental monitoring program
- Coordinate incoming goods inspection and documentation
- Provide regular daily/weekly/monthly quality report
- Other duties as directed

**Expertise / Competency and Experience**
- 5 years experience in quality control / assurance roles
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Engineering, science or related area
- QC Officer knowledge and experience in QC tasks at hand.
- High attention to detail and well organised
- Understanding of and active participation in team-based activities
