As consumers are captured and retained by powerful content, this newly created role will be the balance both strategy and implementation across the ANZ market.

**The Role**
The Head of Content & Social Media is responsible for developing and executing content strategies for paid and owned media channels.

This person is a content marketing genius who is creative-obsessed, solution-focused and data-driven.They are a master storyteller with strong understanding of media and social platforms, including but not limited to Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. They know how to build an audience and convert engagement into sales using a range of performance media techniques.

This person has experience working in with digital marketing teams (both in-house and agency), along with external creative and content agencies to develop best in class ideas and activations. They have strong relationships with various content platforms and are constantly evolving the approach to maximise performance, with data and insights playing a supporting role.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead, develop and execute the content marketing strategy for both Australia & New Zealand
- Develop best in class content that builds engagement and positive perceptions for the brand
- Work closely with internal digital teams and external media agencies to effectively convert engagement into sales and report on effectiveness.
- Work closely with external creative and content agencies to develop new and innovative creative, content and activations for execution in social media platforms - with a particular focus on major product and brand launches
- Implement effective social media tracking and listening tools and report on effectiveness.
- Develop local area social media guidelines for implementation adherence
- Manage the Social Media Specialist, ensuring KPI’s and professional development is implemented
- Work closely with internal teams, including but not limited to other marketing departments, Communications, Operations (both Australia and New Zealand), Voice of Customer and Legal

**Qualifications & Experience**
- 8-10 years’ experience developing and executing content strategies with a particular focus on social media
- Existing relationships with content media platforms
- Experience in managing multiple content platforms across various jurisdictions
- Experience working with external creative, content and media agencies
- Performance orientated and data driven
- People management experience
- Excellent (& creative) written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take direction, adapt to situations and learn quickly
- Ability and willingness to liaise with senior stakeholders as required
- QSR experience will be looked upon favourably but not essential
