**About the role**.**:
Our government client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong history of delivering similar Agile Scrum Master services within a similar organisation. They should have broad and deep expertise delivering IT projects using the Agile methodology.

**Key responsibilities**.**:

- Strong participation in the Quarterly Program Increment planning activities
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives.
- Assist the product owner in maintaining a well-defined product backlog
- Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder team progress
- Help teams achieve a high level of self-organisation and cross-functionality
- Promote the adoption of Agile best practices and continuous improvement
- Share knowledge and upskill teams
- Review BDTI Program Agile Management Tool (JIRA) for assurance and compliance for reporting.

**Highly desirable criteria**.**:

- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile
- Strong understanding and implementation of Agile principles and frameworks (scrum, kanban, etc)
- Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills
- Committed to fostering a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
- Ability to adapt and respond to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with solutions providing enabling services for solution development and project management, including (but not limited to) Jira cloud.
