**Job description**:
Our client is a retail giant looking for Devops Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, security and cost-effectiveness of the infrastructure that runs the Digital environment.

The role is also responsible for defining and embedding the technical delivery practices across Digital Squads, including concepts such as Continuous Integration and Deployment and Automation.

**Responsibilities would include**:

- You will work in partnership with the Solution Architecture team and Engineering Managers to provide DevOps capability around the optimal technologies and infrastructure that will be used to support each service
- You will demonstrate and embed best-practice system engineering skills and processes within the team
- You will deliver and maintain solutions that are Performant, Secure, Cost Effective, Reliable, Deployable, Testable and Evolvable
- You will ensure that the DevOps team play an active role in the investigation and remediation of technical issues across the platform
- You will Initiate continuous improvement for the way the technical platform is managed and maintained

**Mandatory Skills**:

- Previous experience as a DevOps engineer
- Infrastructure as code and automated pipeline experience
- Extensive experience designing and delivering large scale digital solutions
- You must have experience in consumer-facing digital environment
- Agile software delivery experience/Scrum
- Must have experience in Kubernetes and Terraform
- Must have experience in developing CICD pipelines
- Experience in Azure
