Due to current projects, they have vacancies for contract Payroll Officers to assist with the workload.
**About the Role**
As the **Payroll Officer** your responsibilities will include
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain and update payroll records
- Adhere to requirements for processing superannuation, pay as you go (PAYG), STP and other deductions
- Calculate and prepare termination pays
- Respond to payroll enquires in a timely manner
- Complete tasks arising from allocated tickets
- Assist with reporting
**About You**
Some experience with payroll processing is essential, along with the usual traits that all great payroll people have - high level attention to detail, timeliness, clear communication, strong customer service skills and patience.
**The Benefits**
- 6 month fixed-term contract with full leave entitlements
- 5 weeks annual leave
- $65 000 to $70 000 per annum plus superannuation (equivalent to $73 000 to $77 000 with salary packaging)
- Over $18 000 in salary packaging benefits - pay less tax and get more cash in your hand
- 38-hour week with any extra hours accrued as flexi-leave

- Handy location west of the city - 10 minutes from the CBD, 30 minutes from Ipswich
