**Who are we?**
The Faculty of Science Engineering & Built Environment is dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and ground-breaking research and discovery. We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-word impact. This role will specifically be working within the School of Life and Environmental Sciences.
**As a Lecturer in Forensic Science, you will**:
- Lead teaching teams for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs to enhance student learning and outcomes.
- Design, conduct, and lead high-quality research and creative activities, generating impactful outputs in forensic science.
- Collaborate to develop innovative research outcomes.
- Play a key role in delivering units for the Bachelor of Forensic Science and Bachelor of Forensic Science (Honours).
- Assist with teaching in other Science courses within the School, as required.
- Develop a strong research program in the field of forensic science.
**To be successful, you’ll have**:
- PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience
- Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design
- Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
- Ability to contribute to communities through research.
- Capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
