Workshop Cleaner

**Job description**

**The Role**

Our business is involved in the repair of large mining components, and we can’t understate the need for cleanliness at each workstation. Your ability to assist the management team in their efforts to maintain a clean and tidy workshop will be highly valued as a commitment to cleanliness effects every other team member.

You will need to have a forklift license and be skilled in using an overhead crane with slings and chains. Possession of a current WA Driver’s License is also a must. You must also be prepared for 38-60 hours work per week, with overtime and penalty rates also applicable.

**Duties**
- You will be asked to shovel up swarf from around metal cutting machinery, empty bins daily, drive a motorised floor scrubber, use a pressure washer etc.
- Their large metal cutting machinery also needs to be cleaned regularly.
- Other duties may include loading and unloading trucks with a forklift.
- As you grow with us, and fulfil this role, there will be opportunities to progress, over time, commensurate with your desire to learn. An apprenticeship may become available for a person who can demonstrate mechanical aptitude and high attendance.

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
