Z Recruitment is a technology business that provides a casual staffing solution to the Childcare industry through our custom built technology. Originally established in NSW, we operate on a national scale, servicing the childcare sector across NSW, VIC and QLD and are rapidly expanding our growth. Our technology has taken an old school, dated recruitment and placement process and streamlined it meaning the industry has a solution to one of it's biggest pain points, at the click of a button.

**About the role**:
This role is newly created and will sit as part of our small but mighty finance team, based in our Head Office in Ryde. Working alongside our Financial Controller and Accountant, your core focus will be Accounts Receivable (weekly) and Payroll (fortnightly), end to end for up to 500 staff. As a tech business, we are constantly evolving and believe in having state of the art resources to ensure our teams have everything they need to make their job a breeze.

We have custom built a fully integrated timesheeting system, that connects direct to our payroll system (Keypay) and currently utilise Xero for all other finance functions across the business. Outside of the AR and Payroll components, you may also assist the team with reconciliations, AP, month end processing and reports and other ad hoc finance functions as required.

This role is permanent, full time and based out of our Head Office in Ryde. Plenty of parking and close to public transport

**About you**:

- Strong background in finance and/or having recently graduated a finance degree, looking for a foot in the door of your finance career
- Commercially sensible, with a strong hold on finance fundamentals.
- Strong capability to pick up new systems and processes quickly and efficiently
- Willingness to step outside of your comfort zone when it comes to learning new things
- Previous experience with Xero ideal (not mandatory)
- Willingness to work collaboratively and think outside the box where necessary
- Excellent communication skills
