Australian Country Choice is a third generation, privately owned, Queensland-based cattle, beef and food processing company.

Norm Lee and his family established Leeson Pty Ltd in 1960 and purchased their first cattle station, Brindley Park, in 1968. Trevor and Keri Lee later formed Australian Country Choice (ACC).

Today, the ACC Group exists as the world’s largest family-owned, vertically integrated cattle and beef supply chain organisation.

**About the role**:
Based at our facility in Cannon Hill, we are currently seeking a day shift **Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor **for our Maintenance team. This role reports to the Engineering Manager. This role supervises a team of mechanical and electrical trade’s people on a daily basis.

This position involves:

- Set and deliver planned maintenance schedules
- Breakdown management
- Reliability improvement initiatives
- Driving a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensuring a productive and positive team spirit including a high level of moral and participation
- Ensuring safe work practices and Standard Operational Procedures are followed at all times

The nature of this role demands a self-motivated, decisive person with a “can do” attitude with the ability to work with and lead a team to produce results.
- Strong people management skills along with organisational and communication skills
- Experience and a desire to learn problem solving, maintenance trouble-shooting and continuous improvement principles
- Trade qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate)
- Experience working within a CMMS system
- Proven leadership and communication skills to lead a skilled team
- Demonstrable fault finding and root cause analysis skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety by working in a safe manner at all times
- Ability to lead and mentor your team to consistently meet targets
