There is a rare and exciting opportunity for aspiring Human Resources professional join our team as **Talent & Culture Officer** on a **Part-time** basis, three days per week, with the possibility to work extra days during peak seasons.

**Job Description**:
**The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to**:
- Provide on-going support to team members on Talent & Culture related matters, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance of documentation for new starters such as tax records, Superannuation details, visa checks, onboarding documentation are complete and follow up when required.
- Processing onboarding for new starters and terminations for the hotel, including access to systems and issue of Hotel property when required.
- Track the completion of the Accor mandatory training by all employees, reporting back to the Talent & Culture Manager and Heads of Department to ensure this is achieved.
- Proactively assisting the T&C Manager with planning and implementation of employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
- Involvement in the roll out of corporate programs to ensure business needs and corporate time lines are met e.g. engagement surveys, etc.
- Payroll processing on a weekly basis.
- Be available to assist team members with payroll requests, such as payroll related i.e. changes TFN, bank account updates and leave cash out requests, pay discrepancies.
- Keep up to date with requirements for the configuration and intended use of payroll systems.
- Execution of month end activities such as reporting.
**Qualifications**:
**What we are looking for?**
- Intermediate experience in human resources or payroll related roles within a dynamic and busy environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance an advantage.
- Understanding of the Hospitality Industry & General Modern Award (HIGA) and Fair Work Australia National Employment OR a genuine interest in learning.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine and engaging personality. Fluency in English on a business level a must. Additional languages a plus.
- Highly organised with an eye to detail and an ability to effectively manage priorities.
- A creative flair and a natural ability to generate ideas to engage our team members.
- Have the ability to think on their feet and problem solve
- A team player with the capability to build report with all departments in the business.
- Goal driven with the capacity to work unsupervised
- Professional image with high standards of grooming and presentation through and interpersonal skills.
