EACH is a NDIS Partner in the Community delivering the Early Childhood Approach Services in South-West Sydney, Southern New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory. The Early Childhood Approach helps families with children aged 0 - 6 with assistance, advice and access to the supports in your local community.

**About the Early Years Specialist position**
We are seeking _Early Years Specialists_ to join our diverse, and highly motivated group of experienced Early Intervention Specialist including Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists.

As Early Years Specialist you will work in a transdisciplinary team to deliver functional assessments, planning, and delivering early supports for children 0-6 years with a developmental delay or disability and their families. Working in partnership with families to support children to achieve positive outcomes, actively participate in everyday activities, and be included in family and community life.

**Who we're looking for**
In addition to a self-directed passion and drive to support children and their families within the community, we are seeking someone with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Allied Health or Education and Demonstrated experience working with families and young children with developmental delays/disabilities. This opportunity comes with a full training program included so we are open to new graduates.

**What you’ll be doing**
The aim of the Early Years Specialist is to ensure high quality, outcomes based early childhood supports are delivered so that families are more confident in supporting their child’s development, are more connected to services in the community and there has progress towards achieving the child’s goals.

Duties will include:

- Interacting and building rapport with families and carers and listening to the voice of the child.
- Connecting and facilitating the inclusion of the child in community and mainstream settings.
- Coaching families, carers and other professionals to build their capacity to support the child.
- Documenting developmental information, goals and outcomes.
