**Overview**:
The primary purpose of the Digital Project Lead role is to lead, manage, facilitate and coordinate the successful design and delivery of the end-to-end integrated digital scope necessary to achieve successful implementation of the digital component of the project. Although the role will provide leadership for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) component of the above works, this must be achieved through a collaborative and coordinated approach with the team, health facility teams, etc.

**About the role**:
**The successful applicant will**:
Develop timely and relevant written submissions on issues affecting the progress of large scale and complex projects, for project sponsors, steering committees and other interested stakeholders which enables well informed decision making. This should include researching, analysing, interpreting and assimilating complex information for the development of papers, briefing documents, submissions, plans, detailed reports and other correspondence as required for the projects and effectively and clearly present the key elements to stakeholders, as required;
Review the technical scope of services for various procurements and provide digital expertise in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders;
Develop and provide expert advice on and / or review and endorse a range of project deliverables (calling for expertise in Information Management (IM), service delivery and ICT);
Identify ICT risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure key project deliverables are achieved and the overall integrity of the project and the associated project program is maintained;
Provide a point of contact and co-ordination between all digital delivery groups;
Represent the client in discussions and negotiants with the construction manager in regard to key digital matters;
Support the Project in the resolution of changes, issues and disputes, including management of the input from external advisors;
Engage with stakeholders to proactively manage expectations and support the facility transition period;
Liaise and collaborate with other members of the Project Team to ensure that the implementation of digital strategies and plans are coordinated with other project activities;
Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour;
Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces;
Operate as a member of a high functioning and collegial team; and

Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.

**How you'll be assessed**:
**Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following**:
Experience in ICT portfolio / program management of a large hospital infrastructure delivery project;
Experience in ICT delivery during the design, construction and commissioning of a Health facility;
Proven stakeholder relationship management skills including the ability to influence key stakeholders and build relationships with senior management, technical specialists and clinicians; and

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify key issues and risks to delivery.
