**About the Role**:
Our client is a family-owned manufacturer of timber products, who have been servicing Australian merchants, wholesalers and large contractors for over 30 years. Due to ongoing demand, they are now seeking a reliable, dedicated individual, who has an excellent work ethic and a high level of safety awareness, to become a part of their production team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a part of a close knit team, where you will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of duties. Depending on your experience, this will include machine operation, general labouring, stores, despatch and forklift operation. You’ll be joining a friendly and positive team, who enjoy going to work each day and who are committed and passionate about their work.

**Duties**:

- Operating machinery & hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- Production line, assembly & general hand duties
- Using lifting equipment and following manual handling procedures
- General yard and labouring duties
- Adhering to all OH&S regulations
- Load/Unloading of trucks
- Forklift operation (if ticketed)

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
- Physically fit with the ability to undertake manual duties
- Ability to work autonomously as well as effectively in a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience with hand and power tools preferable
- Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements
- Forklift Ticket highly desirable
- Dedicated worker with a stable work history
