We are offering a full time position for an enthusiastic and energetic Student Planner to join our Sydney studio for 2024. COX Architecture is an Australian design practice with studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide. The Sydney studio is multidisciplinary and integrates architecture, planning, urban design and interior design.

Our Sydney planning and urban design team specialises in strategic planning, urban design, master planning, integrated land use and transport, computational design, stakeholder engagement, policy and the public domain. We are industry leaders in city-shaping development and are guided by a considered ethos to drive positive social, environmental and economic outcomes. We provide advice to both the public and private sectors on a wide range of local and international projects.

Essential criteria
- Applicants must be entering their practice year in the Bachelor of City Planning degree at UNSW.
- Strong understanding of urban design and strategic planning issues in Sydney.
- Excellent written communication and visual design skills.
- A basic understanding of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, ArcGIS and AutoCAD is desirable.
