Our company is seeking to hire **a Retail Buyer** to join our vibrant team in **Sydney**. This is a chance for you to combine your skills and passion and progress your career in one of Australia’s booming industries.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Comparing and selecting products for retail and wholesale
- Negotiating price with suppliers based on current market prices
- Coordinating and organising the transportation of all materials to our warehouse
- Obtaining and testing a sample of the products provided by suppliers to ensure that all purchases are of high quality and/or inspecting goods prior to ordering
- Maintaining a good relationship with suppliers
- Liaising and meeting with the company’s suppliers and working closely with them to obtain the best prices
- Conducting research on current market trends and monitoring the current demand from the market
- Analysing the historical sales figure and inventory turnover in the company and informing the management regarding which products should be purchased
- Implementing sales promotion according to our budget
- Coordinating packaging and postage for online orders

**Requirements**:

- A Diploma in Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse and use date to inform all decisions.
- High level of flexibility and a positive approach to the challenging demands of the role.
- Australian citizens and permanent residents of Australia will be preferred.

**We are offering**:
Salary starts $ 70,000 plus superannuation
