**Job Summary**:
As our Maintenance Planner you will provide state-wide Maintenance Planning support to enable proactive routine maintenance to be completed in accordance with Powerlink strategies and stakeholder requirements. Involving development, planning and auditing of maintenance plans and other operational requirements across multiple technical disciplines and teams to provide a holistic suite of maintenance plans within our SAP system.

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for:

- Collaboration with our maintenance facilitators, schedulers, service providers and stakeholders, to ensure all maintenance plans for our assets including, substation, HV transmission lines, secondary systems, communications, revenue metering and easements are in accordance with asset management requirements and network constraints.
- Ensure Maintenance Plans are staged logically, enabling tasks to be completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide high quality services ensuring maintenance plans, inspection classes, work orders and characteristics in our SAP Plant Maintenance Module meet all technical requirements.
- Guarantee timely completion of critical maintenance, monitoring and reporting on tasks such as instrument transformer oil sample work orders, ensuring samples are taken and analysed adhering to the critical maintenance window.
- Ensure Defect Liability Period work orders are in place for inspecting HV Plant prior to the end of the supplier’s warranty.

**About you**:

- Your success in this role will rely on your knowledge and experience of maintenance planning / scheduling practices associated with substation, HV transmission lines, secondary systems, communications or land maintenance environment.
- With your self-motivation and ability to resolve problems proactively while adhering to Powerlink’s safety practices and procedures, will enable you to shape maintenance works to achieve maximum efficiencies.
- You will be a strong written and verbal communicator with high attention to detail, also have effective relationship building skills plus proven capability to read technical drawings and schematics.

You will also possess:

- An Associate Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or have made significant progress towards completing this qualification.
