Playground Maintainer

As part of the City’s Operations and Fleet Services team, you will inspect and maintain playgrounds in accordance with the City’s standards and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications. You will assist in the development of the playground replacement program, and also with providing information and data for the evaluation, planning, development and implementation of the playground replacement component of the City’s Business Plan.

You have a background in equipment or building maintenance with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage your time effectively. In addition to experience in a similar or related role, it is desirable that you have a qualification in Playground inspection endorsement. A current C Class drivers licence is an essential requirement for this role.
- Strong skills in equipment or building maintenance.
- Strong skills in customer service and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Ability to programme works, manage own time and ensure efficient completion and documentation of works.
- Ability to understand relevant codes and standards.
- Strong experience in the safe operation and maintenance of tools, plant and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.

We are offering a gross wage of **$1,298** per week incorporating all allowances and penalty rates, and:

- 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
