Mt Maria College Petrie is a co-educational Secondary College administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. It is located next to Our Lady of the Way school and Church in Petrie. The College was established by Brisbane Catholic Education in 1987 and was originally named “Kolbe College” after Saint Maximillian Kolbe. One of the main strengths of the College is the continual provision of Inclusive Education to its clientele. - We are seeking multiple Classroom School Officers to undertake a range of activities and duties to support students in the classroom. We are looking at full and part time positions.
The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team and have a proven ability to support students with a wide range of needs. These roles may support Year 7-12 classrooms or our Senior Vocational Access Program. It would be advantageous for the successful applicant to hold a Certificate 3 in Educational Support.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
