The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Principal Divisional Finance Officer (Surgical and Critical Care) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Collaborate and consult closely with key stakeholders to deliver meaningful budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and reports
- Provide financial compliance advice and support to the Corporate Services Division
- Ensure that all revenue available to the division, are identified in the division's revenue base
- Review and approve various clinical and patient activities or services as part of the Divisional executive team

About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification such as Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Accounting and a relevant professional qualification would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (up to six months, with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $5 214.20 - $5 595.80 per fortnight

About Us
The Financial Services Division supports GCHHS by providing expert and timely financial services. The Division is made up of Divisional Finance Teams, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Financial Performance, Strategic Procurement and Commissioning, Analysis and Reporting unit. This role is based within the Divisional Finance Team.
