**About the role**
Reporting to the Safety Manager for MinRes Asset Management your primary focus will be to coordinate training activities for our newly created Asset Management Group (AMG) Training Centre. you will play a direct role in ensuring new employees receive exceptional training and are set up for success prior to being mobilised to site. The role will come a high degree of Autonomy, as you will be responsible for developing and managing training plans and schedules for the center, this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a role where they can positively effect change within a progressive and growing organisation. This position will be based at our state of the art Kwinana Workshop working a 5:2 roster Mon
- Fri, perfect opportunity for someone looking to transition back into Perth based role but still remain within the Mining & Recourses Industry.
The role will also be responsible for;
- Provide training for new employees such as fitters, boilermakers and service persons
- Facilitate verification of competency for mobile workshop equipment (forklift, telehandler, EWP)
- Facilitate verification of competency for workshop tooling, i.e. handheld grinders, high pressure cleaners, servicing modules etc
- Support the development and review of training procedures and processes
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with AMG Management, AMG Trainers and corporate training support
- Monitor, update and analyse records of training performance via INX and Power BI.
**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Qualifications in Training & Assessment (Minimum Certificate IV)
- Current valid drivers licence (ideally HR)
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- The ability to self-manage and plan ahead
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience developing and implementing training programs
- Awareness of equal opportunity policies
