Are you a compassionate and responsible driver with a commitment to providing safe transportation services to individuals with disabilities? Disability Support Network is seeking a dedicated Casual Shuttle Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting disabled individuals to and from the Gawler area using a 12-seater bus provided by our organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Safely operate a 12-seater commuter to transport disabled individuals to their destinations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, conducting routine checks for safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritising the safety and well-being of passengers at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth coordination of services.
**Requirements**:
- Valid Driver's License
- First Aid Certification.
- Working with Children Check.
- National Police Certificate.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- **Flexible schedule to accommodate split shifts: 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.**:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
