**About Us**: Our client is a leading manufacturer in the plastics sector. They are committed to delivering high-quality products and are currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Die Setter Technician to join their team and contribute to its ongoing success.
As an Injection Moulding Die Setter/Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production. You will work closely with the production team, ensuring production runs smoothly.
**The Staff member will be responsible for**:
1. **Die Setting**: Set up of injection moulding machines according to production schedules.
2. **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve issues related to mould setup, machine operation, and product defects to minimize downtime and waste.
3. **Quality Control**: Perform quality checks as specified and monitor production runs to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
4. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of mould changes, machine settings and quality specification. Report any abnormalities or deviations.
5. **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Promote a culture of safety among the team.
6. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements in the injection moulding department.
**To be successful in this role you must have the following**:
- Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Die Setter / Technician.
- Proficiency in mould setup, and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in injection moulding.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to work afternoon shift.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
Salary negotiable dependant on experience. No sponsorship available.
Pay: $68,942.00 - $79,228.00 per year
