Norwood Alterations currently have positions vacant for experienced Tailors, Sewing Machinists, Dressmakers, Shop Managers and Customer Service staff all over Australia.

Are you skilled in sewing and passionate about helping people look their best? We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our clothing alteration shop

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform high-quality alterations on garments, including resizing, hemming, repairs, and custom adjustments.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on tailoring options.
- Ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with sewing and garment alterations (formal training is a plus but not required).
- Knowledge of different fabrics and tailoring techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $46,460.00 - $73,219.19 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Weekly bonus

**Experience**:

- tailoring: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- skilled in communication: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 15/01/2025
