We are a small Accounting Firm looking for a proactive, motivated and responsible accounts assistant/office all-rounder to work on a permanent part time basis. The role is for approximately 30 hours per week, with some additional hours and Saturday work required in the peak tax period.
**Accounts Assistant/Office All Rounder Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Preparation of basic individual tax returns.
- Data entry as required, including in MYOB, Xero and Excel
- Assisting in the preparation of BAS statements, including coding of bank transactions in MYOB and Xero.
- Perform clerical duties and other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Comply with security procedures and adhere to strict client confidentiality policies.
**About you**:
- Previous experience in MYOB and/or Xero will be highly regarded, but full training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Passionate about your work and keen on working as a team to provide our clients with the level of service they are accustomed to.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
