**Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Marvel Studios’ What If ? Disney Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, the recently announced Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Flying Bark’s own 200% Wolf, and many others.**_

Flying Bark Productions is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment. For over 50 years, our full-service 2D and 3D production facility has created award-winning feature films and TV series such as _100% Wolf,_ _Maya: The Bee_ and _Blinky Bill: The Movie_.

With over 400 artists at our studios in Sydney and Los Angeles, and partner studios around the world, Flying Bark is one of the largest studios in Australia. Flying Bark is wholly owned by Studio 100: a vertically integrated entertainment powerhouse based in Europe, with theme parks, theatrical productions, and live action and animation studios in Belgium, Germany, France and the USA.

**Here's what we are looking for**:

- Mid/sr level artist with previous experience in animated films.
- Design portfolios with a focus on prop designs. (prop sheets heavily encouraged)
- _Portfolios with mature, graphic stylization of reality. Somewhat in the vein of Spiderverse and Entergalactic, The Witness [Love, Death, Robots]._
- Ability to tackle all stages of prop design from early explorations based on scripts all the way to final painted look and colour styling.
- Graphic stylization of objects/props/set dressing.
- Ability to convert existing objects to clean, graphic shapes and forms.
- Ability to tackle vehicle designs is also a desired skill.
- A strong understanding of style, and flexibility to adapt to and replicate the unique style of the show is a must.
- The role requires a strong understanding of shape design, graphic stylization with a good handle on form, volume and proportions.
- Strong shape language, solid sense of design backed up by great painting and 2D rendering skills.
- Ability to paint prop turnarounds, show the functionality of various props, and put together breakdowns for CG, along with material handouts is a must.
- Willingly take on feedback and reworking material, while maintaining a fresh perspective
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow guidance from creative and technical supervisors, willingly taking on feedback and reworking material while maintaining a fresh perspective

- Ability to take and successfully interpret a verbal or visual creative brief
