A large company with a national footprint but yet still a family-feel about the place. Due to further growth and demand, they are now inline to employ an Operations Supervisor specialising in purchasing and warehouse day-to-day functions.

A large portion (approx. 75%) of this role will involve purchasing. Meaning buying to sell. This will entail you having the nous and know-how to be able to control the inventory of the warehouse and ensure that you are forecasting accurate sales and purchases in order to meet customer requirements.

Reporting directly to the Perth Manager, other duties will include:

- Overseeing 9 others in the warehouse
- Being the eyes and ears for the Perth Manager and assisting heading up the day-to-day functions of the warehouse
- Inventory / stock control using Mopro software (very easy to use) this includes reporting on any stock variances and checks
- Participate and assist in conducting safety meetings on a regular basis
- Hands-on warehouse duties when needed eg: forklift operating, pick packing etc

**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment
- Previous purchasing experience
- Be of a mature mind-set and capable to manage a variety of personalities and cultures of people within the business
- Have a natural flair to give direction and lead by example
- High attention to detail with the ability to also look outside the box
- Current Drivers license and Forklift License
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical inc drug and alcohol screen

**What’s in it for you?**
Asides from working in a great environment with supportive management you will also be well remunerated with a salary circa $80,000 + super plus you will also have your own vehicle which you can use for private use aswell (Ford Ranger) along with mobile phone and laptop.
