Ranger - Regulatory Services (Statutory Laws)

In this role you will be joining a team with the Local Government to provide a collaborative approach to strengthen outcomes and support the coordinator and other rangers. Your day to day will include, but not be limited to, the investigation and management of domestic animal complaints, other nuisance complaints, patrols, local laws enforcement. This role will suit someone who is passionate in achieving targeted performance measures associated with regulatory services and providing positive resolutions of compliance matters.
- Monday - Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Casual Ongoing, Full Time Hourly Basis
- Gympie Location - Work Close to Home
- Short term assignment, currently contracted to end of April with possibility of extension

**A Day in the Life**:

- Interpret and enforce the provisions of relevant legislation in accordance with the Local Government polices
- Mediate and resolve issues between community members and enhance safety measures
- Undertake proactive patrols to ensure community amenity and public safety
- ‘C’ Class driver’s license mandatory
- Experience with a law enforcement agency in local laws / ranger / regulatory role within Local Government is desirable
- First Aid is advantageous
