**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Join a team of industry professionals within a Sydney Local Council as a Principal Planner. This is an initial 6 month contract which has a strong likelihood of being extended. Play a pivotal role promoting development within the community and the professional development of the team.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

**DUTIES.**
- Coordinating Council reports to planning panels
- Assisting and mentoring junior development planners and staff
- Providing written and verbal advice regarding land use, zoning, planning legislation, Council policies and procedures

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Degree qualifications in Town Planning or related
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously
