**About Us**:
The Security and Emergency Services Group (SESG) is committed to providing support to Corrections Victoria in being responsible for the direction, management and operation of Victoria's corrections system which incorporates Prisons, Post Sentence Facilities and Community Corrections.

The SESG provides proactive security services and incident and emergency response to the correctional system. Provision of immediate and long term support through diverse portfolios such as incident response, high security escorts, barrier control, K9 services and state wide training are core functions of the SESG.

**About the Role**:
The Workforce Services Officer is required to schedule staff state-wide on a day to day basis to ensure all mandatory tasks are completed. This role is required to liaise heavily with the Workforce Services Coordinator to ensure staff are rostered to complete their training requirements. Assisting with maintaining records of all descriptions is also a high priority of this role with multiple departmental systems being utilised. Forecasting for staff leave, training courses / high profile court cases, etc. is a high priority and is completed in conjunction with the Workforce Services Team.

Some of your key duties will include:

- Co-ordinating staffing requirements to ensure the daily roles and functions of the SESG are undertaken such as Intelligence led searching, escorts for management/high security prisoners, mandatory training, response teams for various prisons
- Assisting with the coordination of mandatory training for staff within the SESG
- Coordinating the Performance Development Plan process for the SESG and provide assistance and advice in the development of plans for staff.

**About You**:

- Sound understanding of the Victorian Corrections operating system
- Knowledge of the SESG roles and functions will be highly regarded
- Knowledge and experience in Time Target systems and processing will be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in the departments Learning Management System will be advantageous
