Full-Time Architectural Draftsperson

On behalf of Marble Hub a company that supplies a variety of natural stone slabs, marble slabs, engineered stone slabs and porcelain slabs for interior and exterior landscaping projects. The company is renowned for its precise and beautiful stone fabrication, accomplished using cutting-edge technology that produces perfectly cut and polished natural stone benchtops, we are conducting a search for an experienced and skilled Architectural Draftsperson based in the Strathfield South NSW 2136 area.

**Current Opening**:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).

Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Analyse and interpret architectural sketches, drawings, and specifications provided by architects or designers.
- Create detailed and accurate architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, and details for construction documentation.
- Ensure that architectural drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Stay updated on local and national building standards and codes.
- Collaborate with architects to understand design concepts and incorporate changes as needed.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and components for construction projects.
- Conduct site analysis and measurement to gather data for accurate representation in drawings.
- Resolve technical design issues through problem-solving and coordination with project teams.
- Prepare visual presentation materials, such as 3D models and renderings, for client and stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct quality control checks on drafted documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Organise and maintain a systematic filing system for architectural drawings and related documents.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate various disciplines into cohesive design documentation.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting or a related field
- A minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Precision and accuracy are critical in creating architectural drawings to ensure that designs are implemented correctly during construction.

**Salary**:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $60,000-$70,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
