About the job

We are seeking a suitably experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take a lead role in our Stores department at Kwinana Refinery. We want to hear from individuals who have a passion for and thrive leading diverse teams The working roster is a day role Monday through Friday, with one leisure day every four-week period.

This is an integral Supervisory position within a highly autonomous work group primarily accountable for ensuring the operations of the Stores service function are carried out efficiently. The Supervisor of this department is focussed on customer liaison; with special regard to repairable stock items and levels, being a supply resource for the Planning team, and the main Supply interface for added internal departments at Kwinana Refinery. Monitoring of stock is important for critical shutdown activities aligned with the 10-week planning process, as well as general day-to-day maintenance activities.

So, what would be the key expectations?- Work with, and support your Stores Officers to ensure that Stores meets all the parts, spares, and consumable requirements of the Refinery.- Work with the Planning and Maintenance groups on delivery of all parts, spares, and consumables.- Work with Alcoa’s freight management suppliers for incoming and out going freight.- Utilise efficient binning processes to ensure storage of stock is optimised,- Drive and maintain the stock checking audit regime with your team so it is efficient and effective,- Prioritise your time and workload to best accommodate and deliver on business needs and queries directed to you, and- Lead, coach, mentor and performance manage your team consisting of 8 Stores Officers.

(Oracle, SAP, Pronto)- A high-level awareness of safe working behaviour, coupled to a working knowledge of safety requirements and procedures.- Previous large-scale warehousing experience is advantageous.
