We are looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Belt Splicer to join our friendly and supportive team in our Perth branch located at Welshpool.

The position involves working in a team to ensure the workshop operates effectively and safely and supports our production team to deliver on customer orders efficiently. This role would be ideal for someone with some experience in a factory, workshop or industrial setting.

Main duties include:

- Provide quality support to our team of experienced staff to deliver quality work in timely manner. This includes carrying out preparation and movement of stock, maintaining a tidy work area and other general trades assistance activities.
- Support the Technicians to deliver on customer orders including surface preparation, preparing and fitting rubber.
- Operate the forklift to lift and move large mining equipment, pallets, crates and other substrates.
- Ensure equipment and tooling is available for the day's tasks.
- Packing, strapping, wrapping, loading and unload goods and customer orders.
- Carry out deliveries and collections as required

What you will need:

- No experience in the industry is required. Some knowledge or experience in mining, construction or manufacturing environments advantageous.
- Enjoy working hands-on in a fast paced environment.
- A genuine desire to develop a career in the industry, with the motivation and enthusiasm to do you your best each day, is a must
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
- Forklift licence
- Construction Safety Awareness (White) Card (or willingness to obtain one)

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- DAVENPORT, WA 6230: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machine operating: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
