**_HQ Trainee Bookkeeper - Full Time_**

**_About the role_**

This is a HQ role and is not located in the store.

As Trainee Bookkeeper, you will be a multi-tasker and team player, with exceptional communication and organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising the quality and accuracy of the work you produce.
- You will be primarily responsible for:_
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations.
- General ledger, sales and wages reconciliations.
- Intercompany transaction processing and reconciliations.
- General journal entries.
- Assist with BAS, FBT and payroll tax preparation.
- Assist with expense analysis and budgeting.
- Meeting end-of-month deadlines.
- Debt collection.
- Creditors & Debtors reconciliations.
- Work with the Accounts Manager to complete end-of-month and end-of-year financial reporting.
- Supplier Management, ensuring suppliers are paid to guidelines and relationships are managed effectively.
- Assist payroll for 80-100 mainly retail and clerical staff.
- Invoicing of Supplier rebates.
- Ensure any credit-based enquiries are resolved.
- Ad hoc duties as required.

Whilst ensuring all information is as accurate as possible, you will report directly to the Accounts Manager and interact with HQ and store teams as well as suppliers daily.

This is an entry-level role and you will be provided with full training to kick start your career.

You must be able to work as part of our consolidated team and have the ability to work under pressure in a high paced, demanding environment.

Every step in this role must be in accordance with company policies and glamaCo's high standards.
- The regular hours for this role are:_
- Monday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Tuesday to Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm

The roster may include some extended hours during peak trading and promotional periods, as such, you will be paid in accordance with the relevant award provisions.

This role operates in a fast-paced environment and can be physically demanding at times.

Team members come from a variety of industries, careers and educational backgrounds. It helps if you have had prior experience in customer service and/or high-volume retail and it's an extra bonus if you have prior experience elsewhere in the hair, beauty and health industry. You could even be a current customer of glamaCo.

**_Ideally, you will have:_**
- Have some basic accounts experience such as accounts payable working in a fast-paced environment,
- Be willing to commit to a 12-month traineeship (Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping) and complete relevant coursework as required,
- Strong presentation standards,
- Strong customer and supplier relationship focus,
- Strong mathematical skills,
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Computer skills including the use of inventory systems and Google Workspace,
- Ability and desire to learn quickly,
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly (time-sensitive requirements for example),
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely,
- Accurately organise, prioritise and multitask to meet deadlines,
- Be a self-motivated, proactive and effective team player,
- Able to work independently and autonomously,

- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy,
- Desirable prior supplier invoices, credit, and purchase orders experience,
