**Our client, a large construction company in the Traralgon area, has a current opportunity for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician**.

We have an exciting contract opportunity for a **Dual Trade Electrical Instrumentation Technician** with extensive experience.

We are looking to connect with a highly motivated and experienced **Dual Trade Electrical Instrumentation Technician** to join their Delivery Team in providing essential water and sanitation services to Gippsland Water customers across an area of approximately 5,000 square kilometres.

**About the role**
We are seeking a passionate, and organised **Dual Trade Electrical Instrumentation Technician** to work with our Delivery Team operating from our Traralgon depot, with your main goal being to take ownership of and to ensure the timely electrical maintenance support for pumping stations, treatment plant and storage facilities.

Reporting to the coordinator your ability to provide support safely and to best practice will be a key requirement.

Working in a fast-paced environment which is dynamic in nature, you will have the confidence to work within a multi-disciplined team. Opportunities to gain further skills and knowledge will be made available to someone who wants to do and learn more.
- **You’ll be responsible for several key activities including**_:_
- Be a safety champion within your team
- Provide routine maintenance and project work on all assets
- Ensure daily maintenance, diagnosis and repair of electrical and instrument faults is conducted in a safe and timely manner
- Completing all work orders and purchase orders in a timely manner
- Actively communicate and liaise with all team members
- Updating and using single line, control and PID diagrams

**About you**
- 5+ years’ experience, ideally in the utilities, oil and gas, mining, or large scale FMCG industry.
- Hold a VIC “A” Grade Electrical Licence
- Have a Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation
- Demonstrated experience in Water and or Waste-Water infrastructure projects
- White card
- Have a current Australian driver’s license
- Experience with SCADA systems
- Demonstrated experience in fault finding, ability to diagnose and repair LV & ELV systems
- Ability to participate in the on-call roster
