**Exercise Physiologist with a Focus on Primitive Reflex Theory for Neurodiverse Playhouse (Part time)**

**Position Overview**:
Our clinic offers individual and group therapy opportunities with a special focus on building speech, language and social interaction skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct assessments to evaluate the physical abilities and challenges of neurodiverse children.
- Develop individualised exercise plans based on assessment findings, incorporating principles of Primitive Reflex Theory.
- Implement and monitor exercise programs, adjusting as needed to ensure progress and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate parents and caregivers on exercise techniques and strategies to support their children's progress outside of sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and sessions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
- Certification as an Exercise Physiologist preferred.
- Experience working with neurodiverse populations, especially children, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to adapt and modify exercise programs based on individual needs and abilities.
