A full time role within a prestigious Brisbane catholic college. For an experienced Personal Assistant / PA, Executive Assistant / EA or Business Administrator interested in a fast paced role supporting a Deputy Department head.
- Requires Personal/Executive Assistant, Business Administration experience and advanced Microsoft suite skills
- $73,712 - $77,302 dependent on experience
- Brisbane region

**A normal day **will have you:

- providing administrative support to senior management of a school where discretion and judgement are required, including:
taking minutes;
organizing appointments and diaries;
initiating and handling correspondence (which may include confidential correspondence); and
monitoring telephone calls; and establishing and/or maintaining working filing systems.
- Train staff classified at lower levels by means of personal instruction and demonstration.
- From verbal or rough handwritten instructions, answer non-standard executive correspondence, prepare papers, briefing notes or other written material.

Typical specific duties performed include,
- External and Mock Exams: Setup for trials including parent communication, Nomination of chief community representatives, volunteers and co-ordinate logistics;
- Administrative support with endorsement and confirmation;
- Administration for parents/students for ATAR and academic interviews;
- Assist in collation of data for ATAR prediction
- Preparation for Information evenings
- Administrative support for Curriculum Leaders;
- Liaising with academic bodies such as QCAA, QCEC, ACARA and ACER
- Provide support to Secondary Learning Leader;
- Academic assemblies - organisation and co-ordination: Optimus Awards, Outstanding Achievement & VET certificates and relevant badges;
- Organise and update/reformat handbooks;
- Managing the Teaching and Learning dates calendar;
- Minutes of Curriculum Leader’s Meeting;
- Minutes of Executive Curriculum Leader’s Meeting;
- Facilitating the production of teaching and learning guidelines and policies;
- Co-ordinate the organisation of the Year 12 information evening;
- Filing and archiving of past External Exams;
- Update and manage Special Consideration requests, Special Consideration Register Student Leave Requests (3+ days);
- Assisting with the Assessment Calendar
- Assisting with communication to parents and community as required;
- Academic reporting
- Organisation of SET Plan process
- Management of student tracking data
