Bookkeeper

**We are on the hunt for a Bookkeeper**

Austral Accountants is a well established tax and accounting firm located in Brisbane looking to hire a qualified bookkeeper to become part of its vibrant team.

The individual must be proactive with the ability to manage competing work priorities and meet company deadlines. He/she will also need to understand the importance of using initiative and drive to continuously strive for best outcomes and solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of one year working experience in Australia
- A higher diploma/degree in Accounting
- Sound experience with QuickBooks, Xero and MYOB.

**Duties**:

- Bookkeeping activities
- Payroll Management
- Finance management
- End of month/quarter/year processes
- Preparation of GST, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation and Workcover reports
- Preparation of monthly financial reports
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
