Our programs develop critical collaborative and creative thinking skills in 5-13yr olds through active skill-building. At StarTime, and across all our programs; we celebrate the individual talents inherent in every child, allowing them to dream big and have the courage to pursue them throughout life.

Work is likely to entail presenting to groups of 20-30 children in a variety of formats, whether it be a 1hr after school class or a full day workshop in the school holidays.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- You are adaptable, energetic, enthusiastic, organized, efficient, can think on your feet and have highly engaging presenter skills.
- You are a thoughtful and proactive communicator
- You are constantly striving for exemplary results in the learning of students and teachers who attend our programs.
- You are willing to up-skill and participate in paid training in order to deliver workshops on a variety of exciting topics and skills.

Ideally you have near-full availability during the school holidays between 8:00am-5:30pm. Availability between 2-4pm weekdays and/or before school hours is also desirable for term workshops.

Applicants will also be required to:

- Travel between venues and have a current driver's licence.
- Pass a Working with Children Check (or the equivalent in your state or territory).
- Have an ABN
- Complete StarTime's training program

It is preferred that applicant have:

- Ability to travel between venues and have a current driver’s license
- A first aid certificate

**ABOUT US**:
From 2006, StarTime have run hundreds of programs, empowering over 55,000 students and teachers to join the next generation of creative leaders. StarTime is a pioneer in using film-making as an educational tool, both to teach content, and to develop valuable life skills. Our programs emphasise the collaborative nature of film-making, and promote creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and the power of storytelling. We have since expanded our programs to all sorts of creative endeavors, including drama, engineering and design. We are also an accredited teacher training organisation and our clients include schools and organisations all over the country.

**Salary**: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
