**About the Role**:
We are looking for a 2IC for the NSW Warehouse.
Someone that is experienced in warehousing, that demonstrates initiative, strong work ethic, that is looking to progress their career, that demonstrates leadership skills and can manage people.

**Duties**:
You will be primarily responsible for assisting in all aspects of running the warehouse on a daily basis as well as customer deliveries.
**Tasks will include**:
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance, productivity and logistics
- Provide leadership and motivation to the warehouse team
- Efficiently plan resources to maximise warehouse operations
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse goods
- Prioritise daily tasks, including order picking, packing, goods receiving, dispatch, forklift operations, inventory management, and container handling
- Inspect, maintain, and manage warehouse equipment and vehicles
- Keep detailed records of warehouse activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintain safety standards within the warehouse
- Drive improved housekeeping and organisation
- Optimise warehouse space for efficiency
**Skills and Experience**:
- Reliable and committed

- Intermediate computer skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Demonstrate initiative
- Strong work ethic Experience in logistics and warehousing
- Valid drivers license
- Valid forklift license
- 8+ years of related warehouse experience
- Track record of implementing improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
- Proven leadership, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Proven organisational, planning, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory management software and databases
- Lead by example, hands on approach
- Ability to manage a variable daily schedule
- Excellent work ethic
