Are you ready to take charge of a high-volume Accounts Payable function and be part of a leading trans-Tasman dental group?

Abano Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to join our team of over 2000 professionals across 270+ practices, including renowned brands: Maven Dental, 1300SMILES Dentists in Australia, and Lumino The Dentists in New Zealand.

**Role**

As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our end-to-end Accounts Payable process.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
- Proactively follow up on any missing invoices.
- Investigate and resolve AP-related queries promptly.
- Prepare supplier payments efficiently.
- Oversee and manage the vendor Masterfile.
- Identify process gaps and lead the implementation of improvements.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will also be instrumental in proposing and implementing process improvements to deliver timely and accurate AP services.

- Significant experience in managing Accounts Payable processes.
- Familiarity with Dayforce or similar systems is advantageous.
- Proven experience in driving system improvements.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to motivate and lead the AP team to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with suppliers.
- Strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
