**Melbourne MindBody Psychology - Part-time subcontractor - Melbourne, Victoria**

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a part-time Dietician to join our growing multidisciplinary clinic, located off Sydney

Road, Coburg Victoria.

Melbourne MindBody Psychology is a trauma and anxiety focused clinic, however due to demand we are looking for a Dietician to work alongside our Psychologists to support mental health and diet and gut related physical issues.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who specialises or wants to specialise in working with nutrition for mental health including
- Gut and digestive related issues
- Disordered eating predominantly binge eating
- Provide low FODMAPS and nutrition food plans

This position would suit an experienced practitioner or a new graduate. The desire to work with children, adolescents and families is also desirable. Best suited to someone who is kind, caring, holds a strong desire to help others and has the ability to work autonomously in a rapidly expanding clinic.

The role will be part-time on either a contractual basis or room rental agreement. February start date.

We believe that mental health and good nutrition go hand in hand and therefore offer nutritional assistance along with counselling. Our Director holds qualifications and extensive clinical experience as a Psychologist and Naturopath, and is passionate about creating a space that supports clients with both mental health and gut health related health issues. Some gut directed hypnotherapy is also offered specifically for treating irritable bowel syndrome, however we are seeing much more demand for support in this area.

**Essential**:

- Full registration as a Dietician
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- ABN number
- Eligibility for registration under Medicare
- Able to work autonomously
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks
- Empathic
- Current working with children and police check
- Sound clinical knowledge,willingness to learn
- Dedicated, reliable and self-driven professional, who is keen to be part of a friendly and supportive team environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract

**Salary**: $59,197.38 - $113,525.81 per year
