My client, based in Lucas Heights, is seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Strategy Specialist to develop and deploy an IT Service Continuity Management plan, ensuring their clients are well prepared and protected in the event of a triggered IT disaster.
The role involves working with internal business units as clients, however understanding that the revised BCP is still 18 months from being published. The existing service continuity plan is being revised, but that piece is ongoing separately to this hire.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and deploy the IT Service Continuity Management plan
Collaborate closely with strategic partners, IT teams and business stakeholders to execute disaster recovery test exercises
Conduct situation analysis (DR scenarios) and manage senior stakeholder relationships both in technology and business
Implement Disaster Recovery solutions and products, network infrastructure and IT security policy
Manage business continuity and risk management, including emergency planning, disaster recovery, emergency/crisis response management
Ensure compliance management

**Key Requirements**:
5+ years of experience in disaster recovery planning and execution, with a strong background in situation analysis (DR scenarios)
Strong experience in Disaster Recovery solutions and products, network infrastructure and IT security policy
Extensive experience in business continuity and risk management, including emergency planning, disaster recovery, emergency/crisis response management
Strong understanding of compliance management
Excellent communication skills
Ability to operate on a critical path and manage and maintain senior stakeholder relationships in technology and business
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days required in the office. Stakeholders meetings and presentations must be attended in person. The initial contract is for 6 months with a view to extend.
