**About the role**:
The EL 1 Pricing Engagement is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the pricing engagement functions of the business.

The position is an important team leadership position within the business and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision-making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the work area.

**Duties**:

- Lead the development and utilisation of channels necessary for maintaining staff knowledge of policies, processes and market strategies, providing an escalation point and key contact for pricing concerns and challenges.
- Manage projects and change, evaluating current and new market capability and capacity-building initiatives.
- Provide additional support across the Branch and division, meeting emerging needs and undertaking specific initiatives.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy, and actively lead a team to ensure support and communication to stakeholders is in line with internal policies. Draft executive and ministerial briefings and correspondence.
