Our client a Renewables Organization in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Contract & Procurement Specialist to join them for a 6 month contract.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Contracts and Procurement (‘C&P’) process for the Project Portfolio.

This includes assisting the management of contract tenders, execution, delivery and close out.

**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Compliance - Performing all activities in accordance with C&P policies and procedures and ensuring appropriate governance for procurement and contracting activities
- Awareness - Familiarity with C&P systems, policies and procedures as well as standard purchase order and contract terms particularly those related to on-boarding, payment verification and invoice processing
- Stakeholder Engagement - Actively promote effective communication and relationships with all other interfacing disciplines, both internal and external, in carrying out assigned duties
- Risks - Proactively identify risks, including how to treat such risks, particularly as they relate to the performance of vendor/supplier obligations
- Tenders - Supporting the Senior Contract Specialist in managing all tenders for projects including developing bid lists, compiling tender documentation, co-ordinating the assessment of bids with other disciplines, developing bid award documentation
- Contract Awards - Supporting the Senior Contract Specialist in compiling the contract document
- On-Boarding - Ensure that contractors are onboarded according to the organizations requirements
- Execution - Managing registers including insurances, bank guarantees, correspondence, payment, lessons learned as well as attending meetings, internal and with contractors, and taking and issuing meeting minutes as well as correspondence
- Performance Management - Supporting the Senior Contract Specialist in ensuring awareness within organizations contractor obligations and rights and for ensuring contractor compliance with its obligations
- Payment - Managing and co-ordinating the payment process to contractors including assessment of payment claims, resolving any issues, obtaining internal approvals, co-ordinating payment of any outstanding amounts, tracking payment status
- Close-Out - Supporting the Senior Contract Specialist in closing out completed contracts including final payments and any other outstanding matters
- Records & Reports - Maintain and update C&P records and reports on C&P activity to meet organisational compliance requirements and provide access to C&P information

**Key Skills and Experience Required**:

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint)
- Understanding of the essential ingredients of tender processes and contracts
- Strong eye for attention to detail and accuracy
- Extremely well developed analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- High level written skills with excellent attention to detail
